Lockdown, Day 46: A long week ahead

Over the past week, India has been working towards getting back on its feet, only to be knocked back down by a rising case count; the country has reported close to 10,000 cases and 675 deaths, pointing to a long way ahead before life can go back to normal.

In other news, IT major Wipro may have to pay heavily for benching people and docking their pay during the pandemic.

COUNT SO FAR:
    714 Maharashtra cops have tested positive, till date.
    338 new cases in Delhi, total tally now 6,318.
    76 new cases in Rajasthan, state tally up to 3,655.
    43 new cases in Andhra Pradesh, total cases now 1,930.
    36 new cases in Karnataka, state total reaches 789.
    30 new cases in Jammu & Kashmir, total now 823.
    21 new cases in Jharkhand, state total now 153.
    13 CISF personnel test positive.
    Five new cases in Bihar, state's tally now 579.
    Four new cases in Uttarakhand, total rises to 67.
