Eye on hotspots & that sinking feeling on D-St

After a govt note hinted that Covid-19 is still in local transmission stage in India with limited community transmission, health ministry spokesperson Lav Agarwal, at a late-afternoon press meet, cautioned against using the term "community transmission" loosely.

Earlier in the day, the govt stressed that there was no plan to extend the lockdown beyond 21 days. India has reported 1,071 positive cases, with 29 casualties.

In a lockdown breather, all banks have become operational from today, dropping the previous cluster approach.

On the sixth day of the 21-day nationwide lockdown, one of the more significant announcements was that the govt will enforce cluster isolation for corona 'hotspots'.
