Being able to write an email that is promoting a product and sending it to 2000 people that you have in your email list in order to buy it, it's cool. Makingthis process automated even if you are a total beginner, it's even cooler.
You can easily create a big list of subscribers if you have a big website. But your website must be related to the product that you are promoting.
With an email platform you can create big lists even if you are a newbie or if you have a big website or a big following, and then write a few emails that link to a great video that you have made with great content, or to a free with good content blog post and then have an email where it talks to people about a product, its benefit, promises and results.
You can of course automate this process, write a few of these emails that link to your content (all in one day) and "tell" the email autoresponder to send out to people the emails in specific days or specify the number of days that they have to wait in order to be sent out to people.
You can specify the number of days that you want an email to "wait" to be sent out to your list of subscribers. And just like that you can have an automated online business even if you are a newbie sitting in your house in your pajamas.

Aweber: I am using aweber and it's great. Its navigation it's very easy. I can use it to send people follow up emails very easily. I can write all my emails in one day, "tell" the autorespondeer to send an email to people, then to wait 2 days and send to them the next do one, and to keep repeating doing this. It's automated.

2. Getresponse
Getresponse: I have heard a lot of great comments about getresponse. A lot of people are using it and are saying that it's great, easy and with a lot of features. And of course it as the follow up emails feature. Getresponse has received great comments from Neil Patel as well who is as an expert online marketer and has being ranked in the top 100 entrepreneurs of the US.
Costs: Free Trial for 30 days, then $15 per month for the basic "package".
3.Mailchimp
Mailchimp: Mailchimp it's free, it offers good and nice looking email templates for your email marketing campaigns but in order to have the follow up feature you have to pay.
Here is one thing that I don't like about Mailchimp: Its support team is bad. I once had sent an email to Mailchimp's support teamand it took them more than a week to reply back to me. With Aweber it's very different. It have sent some questions to aweber's support team and they replied back to me within 2 days and they reply back with good answers.
Costs: Free for a total of 2500 subscribers, then you have to pay. And for the follow up email feature and automation you have to pay extra.
Autoresponder email template
Almost every autoreponder / email platform will include pre-made templates that you can select and use. These templates vary between each other and you will find that alot of them have a different style so that you select one that you like. Aweber, mailchimp and getrepsonse have good looking templates and it is easy to select a template. But of course the thing that matters the most is the content of your email.
Automated email marketing
To make money with email platforms you will have to use the follow up feature which I have just explained it above. You will write multiple emails that will be sent to your subscribers through a few days or weeks.
And you can't just send them a promotion first. At first you have to send them some free stuff. People usually won't buy straight away. Don't send them an email to a product in your first email. People usually don't buy so easily.
Send them maybe 2 or 3 emails first that contains advise or techniques about their niche and then send them an email that has a link with a product.
Knowing a lot about your niche that you like and willing to put yourself out there are the two most popular things to having a big success at making money online.
Email marketing lists
It's a good thing to have multiple email marketing lists ( or emailing lists) to test different variations of emails or totally different emails in each one. You can have multiple email lists and you want to see what emails perform better, you can easily do that.
You could also test a different offer that each offer will send people to a different lis and the list with the most subscribers is the list with the best performing offer.
Cheap autoresponder
You can sign up to mailchimp if you want to agood a free autoresponder because it allows you to create a free basic account that allows you to have up to 2500 subscribers. But like I have said previously in this post, mailchimp has a very bad support team. If you still want to use a free autoresponder then you could search and find some but I am sure that you could find some important limitations in each one. Aweber isn't so expensive when you think about it and you can start with a free first month. The same is true with getresponse.
